SUMMER SUNDAY SERVICES The last Sunday in May through the Sunday before Labor Day

Sunday Worship 9:45 a.m. Children's Sunday School after kid's sermon Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at the 9:45 a.m. service during the summer schedule.

 

REGULAR SUNDAY SERVICES The first Sunday after Labor Day through the 2nd to last Sunday in May

Sunday Worship 8:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. Children's Christian Education 9:30 a.m. Adult Christian Education 9:45 a.m. First English practices open communion. All baptized Christians of communing age and those who receive Holy Communion at their own congregations are invited to the Lord's table at First English. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at the 11:00 a.m. service and on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month and all festivals at the 8:30 a.m. service. A nursery is available for kindergartners and younger in the education wing during both services and during the sunday school hours. Coffee is available in the kitchen before each sunday service of worship. after the 11:00 a.m. service, there is a fellowship time with coffee, juice, and refreshments outside the front doors to the church.

On Ash Wednesday, we offer a noon table service of communion followed by a Soup and Sandwich lunch and then Imposition of Ashes at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The Ash Wednesday evening Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion service is held at 7:00 p.m. preceded by a Soup and Sandwich Supper at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. During Lent we worship on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. preceded by a Soup and Sandwich Supper at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Holy Week Services include Maundy Thursday worship and Holy Communion at noon and 7:30 p.m., Good Friday Tre Ore service from noon to 3:00 p.m. with the "Seven Last Words from the Cross," Good Friday worship with congregational reading of the "Passion According to St. John" at 7:30 p.m., and the most joyous and solemn celebration of the Christian faith, Easter Vigil worship with dramatic readings, renewal of baptismal vows and Holy Communion at 9:00 p.m. on Easter Eve. We worship on Christmas Eve with a children's sermon, carols and candle lighting at 5:30 p.m. and carols, choir, Holy Communion and candle lighting at 11:00 p.m.
